  13. I'm trying to install xdvik-1.8d. Everything goes smoothly until I try
  14. to view a document with an included eps file. When the viewer hits the
  15. PS, it starts up gs ok, then after a brief wait the xdvi window clears, then
  16. it just stalls. If I change pages, then come back to the offending page, the
  17. page displays, including a small part of the PS figure. (The PS is generated
  18. by Maple. It is surrounded by a thin border of rules, in the postscript, not 
  19. generated by TeX. It is the border that shows up when I come back to the page;
  20. the rest of the figure is blank.)

  22. I'm running Solaris 2.2 on a Sparc classic, using gcc and gs 2.6.1.

  24. dvips handles the file fine.

  26. Anybody got 1.8d running on a Solaris 2.2 system, using ghostscript?
